You are now reading the first ever blog post from your community of apartments in Haltom City! Welcome, and thanks for taking some time out of your day to join us. In the blog post below, you’ll find a list of some outside-the-box Thanksgiving recipes that you can use to whip up a delicious meal for your family on November 22nd.

You probably don’t want to be the person in charge of the turkey, and you definitely don’t want to be the person responsible for the salad. You want to be the person who brings the dish that people can’t stop eating, even when they’re completely full. After all, there’s no better feeling than seeing your serving dish empty at the end of the night.

Let’s dive right into the list of recipes, shall we? When you’re done reading through it, please feel free to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at The Grand on Beach — the apartments Haltom City, TX residents choose for contemporary comfort and style.

Thanksgiving Cauliflower

Before you get started, grab these ingredients:

  • Cauliflower

  • Butter

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Sage

  • Flour

  • Thyme

  • Rosemary

  • Mushrooms

  • Vegetable Broth

The first dish on our list is also the healthiest. Cauliflower is rather bland on it’s own, but it turns into a tasty Thanksgiving delicacy when you add herbs like thyme, sage and rosemary. Mix it all up, add it to the vegetable broth and enjoy this super tasty yet healthy holiday dish.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

For a unique twist on a classic Thanksgiving dish, give this mashed sweet potato dish a try. Not only does it present a slightly-sweet alternative to the traditional mashed potato dish, but it also looks as appealing as it sounds. Plus, it’s super easy to make!

Before you get started, grab these ingredients:

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Half-and-Half

  • Butter

  • Maple Syrup

Baked Apples with Sausage Stuffing

We saved the coolest-looking dish for last. Being the person who makes the stuffing for Thanksgiving is a big responsibility, but you can knock it out of the park by putting your stuffing in a hollowed-out apple. By baking the stuffing right into the apple, you can bring out all sorts of flavors that wouldn’t be in a traditional stuffing dish. Give it a shot this Thanksgiving, residents!

Before you get started, grab these ingredients:

  • Butter

  • Celery

  • Onion

  • Sausage

  • Stuffing Mix

  • Unsalted Chicken Broth

  • Granny Smith Apples
